Transitional Bathroom Remodel - Rockville, MD
Pictured is a transitional style bathroom, featuring a freestanding tub, enclosed shower and gorgeous wood look tile. The seafoam colored wall is beautifully contrasted with a gray wave tile. This not only enhances the ocean theme but also protects the wall surface from splashes, something that can be common is tighter spaces.
The freestanding tub is a modern aspect of this bathroom, allowing for more floor space and an overall larger feel of the area. Floating shelves were also added due to the limitation of space. In regards to lighting, the natural light is well utilized with a large window and skylight. Also, a fantastic tech feature is the user friendly programmable thermostat which is used to control the heated floor.

Using this bathroom’s layout, a shower enclosure was constructed. This was for functionality and privacy reasons; now, multiple people may use the bathroom at once. Another feature, specifically in the shower, is the corner seat, provided for convenience to the user.
The shower continues the beach theme with a similar color palette of greys and blues. Timeless brushed nickel fixtures and wave tile are also used to match the rest of the bathroom. For functional feature, two shower niches were placed to separate his and her bathroom products.
