Functional Bathroom Remodel - Travener Cir, Frederick, MD 21704
Pictured is a well designed and functional bathroom. The previous bathtub was replaced to create extra countertop and cabinet space, used for linens and dirty laundry. Lining the wall with the countertop and vanity, continuous surfaces, made the bathroom appear larger. Numerous drawers in the vanity also free up countertop space.
With a curbless shower, this bathroom transforms into a lighter and more open space. Handicap accessible features as well as a no shower door glass panel are present. The main showering area has a wall constructed for semi-privacy. A separate toilet area was established for this purpose as well.
A good size bench was constructed, creating comfort and convenience for the end user. Close proximity to the shower is an important note as it allows one to bathe while utilizing the bench. An ADA compliant grab bar was installed for safety reasons. For the construction of a curbless shower, a linear drain was placed.
